This position is responsible for managing the communication and development needs of the organization by: communicating the impact, mission, and vision of the organization to the public, donors, and external organizations; creation, implementation, and maintenance of campaigns; marketing and donor list management and segmentation; event management; grant research and writing.

We are seeking an educator to work with elementary-age students at our satellite after school program. This role will also liaise with families and community partners. A background in education is required; musical knowledge is not. This is a part-time position of approx. 12 hours per week.

About the Choir School

The Choir School of Delaware, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides professional musical training, leadership development, language skills, academic support and mentoring in an intergenerational environment for youth in Wilmington, Delaware, and the surrounding region. Choir School staff and volunteers serve as advocates for these students to help guide them to success in academic, music and social endeavors.
