Apprenticeship Program
The Choir School of Delaware is thrilled to offer new this year a special apprenticeship program for students in grades 9 through recently graduated seniors. This is a paid position through the Choir School of Delaware in collaboration with the City of Wilmington Youth Career Development program and the New Castle County Youth Workforce Development program
What is a Youth Leader Apprentice?
As a Youth Leader Apprentice, students have the opportunity to work for the Choir School this summer and be paid for being in the summer musical as well as advancing their academic studies. Students with an interest in the theater arts either on or off stage are encouraged to apply. View the full job description.
In addition to completing the application below, students will be required to complete an interview, audition and pass a background check. If you are a resident of New Castle County or the City of Wilmington, the Choir School will also help applicants in the next steps to apply for youth workforce development programs through which students may receive job training and compensation.

Our promise to you is to keep your students engaged with excellence in academic support and music, as well as keeping them safe while at the Choir School. All students must be fully vaccinated to participate in the Choir School Summer program. At this time, the Choir School cannot allow for exemptions. We will, of course, be in touch should any of this change in accordance with best practices and CDC guidelines.
